GLORIOUS is an independent organisation established with a view to promoting education and uplifting educational institutions in Pakistan. GLORIOUS is a collaborative venture of six major not-for- profit organisations/trusts working in the education sector to improve the literacy rate in Pakistan. GLORIOUS is an effort to join hands, to share experiences, and to support individual activities against one common enemy "Illiteracy."

The basic purpose is to develop an education system which must meet the requirements of a modern, scientific, and dynamic world in accordance with Islamic ideology. Since its existence, GLORIOUS has become a common platform for achieving this common goal.
